Our group of 6 had the pleasure of Chef Bill cook us a private dinner for my friend's 30th birthday. Communication from the beginning and picking out courses from his website was a breeze! Chef Bill and Leslie absolutely killed it. They did an AMAZING job from start to finish. Everything was presented beautifully and timed perfectly. And most importantly the flavors in each bite were out of this world. And each course just kept getting better. This was an experience we will absolutely never forget. Thank you Chef Bill!

Everything was wonderful! Chef Bill showed up right on time and went to work. He cooked and served me and my girlfriends an amazing four course dinner. Flavors were wonderful and portions were enough that we got two meals out of it.
I can't say enough about the quality of our meal and Bill overall. He is personable, likeable, conversational and of course talented. The price was great and I wouldn't hesitate asking him to cook for your special event.

Chef Bill did a private dinner for our 27 year anniversary and... it was incredible!!! The meal was absolutely amazing AND his customer service was stellar! Bill's attention to detail created a warm environment where my husband and I were able to relax and just enjoy his incredible dishes and service. He was so professional and communicative - from the moment I contacted him to book our dinner. Such a breath of fresh air. Earlier this year, my husband and I bid on a gift certificate that Chef Bill had donated to a fundraising gala for Libertas Academy (a local Christian School). We had no idea at that time that our evening with Bill would turn out to be one of the best anniversary dinners that we have ever had. Thank you again Chef Bill! I will be calling you again!

Words cannot describe the level of awesomeness that is Chef Bill. He was absolutely phenomenal in every way: kind, punctual, funny, efficient, gracious, and obviously a fantastic chef. We rented an AirBnB near Yosemite, and he prepared a meal that none of the 9 of us will ever forget. We chose the Shrimp Rockefeller Stuffed Mushrooms, the Spinach Salad with Strawberry Vinaigrette, and the Spicy Apricot Duck Breast. Each course was incredible. The duck was hands down the best duck any of us have ever experienced - it was so juicy and tender. After finding Chef Bill on Yelp, we committed just based on the great reviews... and we're so thrilled that we did. If we ever have occasion to be back to the area, we'll call Chef Bill again in a heartbeat. It's a literal 100/100 from us. Nothing could have been better.

This review is long overdue! Chef Bill and his wife did a wonderful private dinner for my elopement. They both were so friendly and made the most delicious dishes! The communication was phenomenal! My family loved them and their food so much we are planning to get together again in Oakhurst and request Chef again! Thank you for a wonderful evening!

Just outside of the gates of Yosemite, Chef traveled to the AirBnB we had. We found him to celebrate two birthdays. He arrived on time, which was impressive we were a bit out of the way.
He brought everything he needed. We only had to provide plates and silverware.
Food was fantastic all four courses. Ingredients were amazing.
We will definitely use Chef again for an event up there.
He was easy to work with, payment was easier and the service was absolutely top notch.

Chef Bill was right on time brought his kitchen into ours. So professionally prepared and presented with a fine touch of flare.

Chef Bill prepared dinner for our group of 8 celebrating our 70th in Yosemite. The dinner and his presentation was wonderful. Was hard to choose from his menu choices, they all looked so yummy. Would definitely recommend hiring Chef Bill.

A group of friends and I pitched in together to hire bill to cook for six of us while we were at an AirBnB near Muphry's CA. Bill was great from the get go, had really good communication with me and we built a menu together quickly. He also added a custom dish at request which was a cold avocado soup. Menu came out at completion as rockefeller shrimp stuffed mushrooms, cold avocado soup, strawberry spinach salad w/toasted nuts and bacon, duck in a spicy apricot sauce, seared ahi tuna with a wasabi cream sauce and duck egg crepes stuffed with spiced apples and a sort of custard cream. Everything was amazing, everyone demolished their food and Bill was both professional and entertaining.
I will 100% hire him again for future events. Well worth the money and he makes the process of getting the event set up very easy.

Chef Bill was TOP NOTCH!! We hired him for our 14 person dinner after our Yosemite wedding and he was incredible. My family would not stop raving about how good the food was and the service!! They refilled everyone's drinks and it was really a fine dining experience. He is very easy to work with as well. Would give 10 stars if I could, highly recommend.

Not sure what I expected but experience was fabulous. Twelve of us returned to house after daughter's wedding at Yosemite. Chef Bill greeted us and asked our preferences of how we liked our filet cooked. Once seated he told us there was no need to get up; that he and his wife would bring us whatever we needed. The food was amazing. They were friendly and professional and put us all at ease. It was like being at a restaurant in your own home. They cleaned everything up afterward too. It was a really fun and delicious dinner! Thanks Chef Bill!!

Very impressed with Chef Bill! He was an excellent communicator prior to our 4 person, 4 course plated dinner. The food was plated beautifully, cooked to perfection, and timed to the minute of when I asked the first course to arrive on the table. It was also the last night of our Airbnb and he left the kitchen SPOTLESS...made checkout so much easier. I highly recommend!

The food was amazing. The fillet was cooked perfectly. Chef Bill made the evening very special. I definitely recommend him. One of the best meals I've ever had. He was able to accommodate us on short notice after our initial wedding dinner plans fell through and we're so glad because it was the absolute perfect end to the day! My husband and I got married in Yosemite this past September (2019) and we hired Chef Bill to come to our cabin and cook dinner for us and our family the night before our wedding. He cooked us a DELICIOUS four course meal with asparagus and herb-cream cheese wrapped with Italian bacon, caramelized apple and arugula salad, braised pork chop with apple glaze, and chocolate torte with strawberries. The food and presentation was incredible, him and his wife were super accommodating, and he left the kitchen in our cabin immaculately clean and in great shape. He is a true professional and we absolutely loved working with him. We can't recommend him enough! Thanks for being part of our wedding, Chef Bill!

Chef Bill cooked a dinner for my wife and I right in my kitchen. Fresh Opah filets topped with white shrimp and huge scallops, sweet rice and an exotic zucchini dish. Knocked it out of the park and we got a bit of a cooking lesson to boot. We loved it! He is such a fun guy, but takes food seriously.

I found Private Dinners By Chef Bill via a google search. I wanted to throw a surprise dinner party for my husbands 36th Birthday, it was last minute but Chef Bill was extremely helpful and accommodating. I decided on the 4 Course meal of Crab Cakes with banana cream sauce, Spinach Salad w/ strawberry vinaigrette, Filet Mignon w/ Demi Glaze sauce and cheese cake! Everything was absolutely delicious! He and his wife easily took over as hostess to our 14 person dinner, filling wine, champagne and water as needed (you provide the drinks). My husband is a foodie but hates going out to dinner, this allowed us to eat delicious food in the comfort of our own home. The best part is that even though Chef Bill takes over your kitchen to cook he leaves it exactly as he found it! It was so great to wake up the next morning to realize there was no clean up!!! Definitely recommend Private Dinners By Chef Bill to anyone looking for a private in home dining experience.

Chef Bill is as very responsive from the start. He was asked to cook for our elementary school’ parent pasta night. He arrived on time, was friendly, met our staff and families. He worked with our budget and made a wonderful marinara sauce! We would definitely hire him again! Very kind gentleman!

Chef bill was awesome! He was absolutely perfect with 10 little girls. He provided a lesson plan based on 3 different grade levels of curriculum for a Girl Scout troop. He fulfilled the daisies welcome to the flower garden journey section 3, brownies snacks, and cadettes new cuisines badges. He handled their chatter and answered all their little questions.

I was hosting a dinner party and found Chef Bill. He made the entire experience very easy and he took all of the stress away from me. The food was simply amazing and when the party was over, the clean up was already complete. Bill had a wonderful personality and he made my dinner party one I will always remember.
Being a vegetarian with meat eating friends, Bill was accommodating to all of our different dietary restrictions. Unlike other places, Bill created a delicious vegetarian friendly meal, he did not just take the meat away from his meal courses. I was concerned about finding a chef who would work with all of our different diets and so thankful I found Chef Bill.

A friend of mine used Chef Bill for an event she hosted and it was SOOOO GOOOD! She is a vegetarian and I was worried about the weird stuff she was going to have. Luckily I was happily surprised with the variety of options that were provided. Not only were the meat options decadent and mouth watering, the vegetarian options weren't the nasty cooked kale things I was expecting. I'd go vegetarian for the things he provided, but I'll stick to the juicy, perfectly prepared meat dishes he gave us! His service was so personable, entertaining, and professional. Hands down would recommend!

Chef Bill was amazing. He made an incredible steak dinner for me and a small group of my closest friends. He was courteous over the phone, very helpful with creating the menu, and of course the food was top-notch. I thought hiring a private chef would require a ton of planning, but he made it so simple. I would go to him again in a heartbeat!

This was the best idea I've ever had! Review is long over due however; we contacted Chef Bill for a 60th birthday party. There were only 4 guests including the guest of honor but, we wanted something you don't do every day. We spent the day wine tasting and who wants to make dinner after that?! Ew no! Chef Bill was great through the process. Very up front and professional. Amazing personality and we knew he was our guy. I have to say too, the food speaks for itself and is well worth the prices. There is truly a difference in a decent home cook and a chef!!! If I could just hire him full time at my residence, I would! I recommend every one give this a shot sometime and recommend Chef Bill to work with every time. Great food, punctual, great personality, easy to work worth, and well worth every penny!

My husband and I wanted to do something special for our anniversary. We both love good food, but didn't want the hassle of going out, waiting for a table, waiting for service, waiting for our food, then feeling rushed through our meal for the waiters convenience, etc. So we invited a couple of friends and hired Chef Bill to come to us. I will say it was one of the best decisions we could have made. He is extremely professional, planning for our evening was easy, he showed up and from then on we were the guests! The food was divine! We had delightful appetizers, we ordered salmon for our entree, it was so delicious it brought tears to our eyes, lol! Dessert was beautifully presented, (as was the entire meal), he even poured the wine for us! We literally did not have to leave the table. In the end, he and his helper quietly cleaned up, leaving our kitchen as though he had never been there. We all had a wonderful time, thoroughly enjoyed the delicious meal and loved our special evening. We highly recommend Chef Bill, go ahead, splurge, give him a call, you won't regret it!
